Few establishments have had the quirky effect on dining innovation in the United Kingdom that YO! Sushi has.
Sushi has always been delicious but many people associate it with dimly lit restaurants or expensive meals out.
Whilst these experiences can be nice, sometimes people want to grab a light, delicious healthy bite in a more relaxed manner.
And it doesn’t get much more relaxed than YO! Sushi. Where else can you get yummy sushi from a conveyor belt to eat at your table?
In fact, do you know a restaurant of any food type where you can enjoy your food from a conveyor belt?
Chances are, if you do know one, they weren’t doing it in 1997, which is when Simon Woodroffe kicked off the exciting and groundbreaking idea in Soho, London.
There’s also a high chance you haven’t seen any other restaurant chains in a Johnny English movie.
If Britain’s clumsiest spy getting his tie stuck in your delicious conveyor belt isn’t a sign of a fun restaurant, then what is?
This positive atmosphere spills into the staff lives at YO! Sushi, which has been repeatedly recognised as one of the best big names to work at in the United Kingdom.
The restaurant confidently states that its positions come with job security and the opportunity to grow your career.
They can make these claims because the business continues to expand year on year which puts them in a stable position to offer people paths forward toward their future.
This side of working at the restaurant is often fulfilled as many members of staff end up comfortable and staying longer than they might otherwise do in the high-turnover industry.
This is partially due to some of the great benefits the restaurant offers.
Having no late nights is a great plus-side to anyone whose working hours are important to them.
Access to free sushi is anyone’s dream and each shift means another choice from the menu, on the house.
Longer-term care is also taken with the Grow with YO! initiative that sees the company provide financial support for professional qualifications as well as support services designed to look after your physical and mental wellbeing.
